Rehoboth Family Fellowship

“Call unto Me and I will answer thee and show you great and mighty things you know not.” Jeremiah 33:3

At Rehoboth Family Fellowship, we believe in the power of prayer. We are truly excited with what God is doing in our midst. We also know that we are powerless to make things happen without God in our lives. As clearly stated in the Bible, God wants us to pray with power, purpose and precision. His promises are sure to follow. Prayer will invite the miraculous power of God into our lives and families. Especially now, America needs a fresh breath of prayer. We encourage you to join us as we Pray Until Something Happens.

Please use the following Prayer Directives as inspiration for both your daily personal prayers and corporate prayer that you may share with others.

Wait. Listen. Be still.

Find a quiet prayer closet or other location where you can meet with God and have minimal interruptions. Begin with just 10 or 15 minutes to experience the art of being still. Pray and listen. Don’t leave the huddle until you’ve heard from the Father!

pray text

We will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. Acts 6:4

1. Pray for those in authority: World leaders, President, authorities in state and local government, pastors and spiritual leaders.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

2. Pray we’re filled with His wisdom, His knowledge, and His will and that we’ll walk fully pleasing unto Him.

Colossians 1:3-6 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, for the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth

3. Pray we seek Him first and then His promises will be ours..

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

4. Pray for protection: nationally, personally, and for armed forces in harms’ way.

Psalm 91 (please click reference to link to BibleGateway.com)

5. Pray for the right people to be chosen for leadership: nationally, locally and at our local churches such as Rehoboth Family Fellowship.

Acts 1:24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, show whether of these two thou hast chosen

6. Pray God will open doors to preach His word...and that hearts will be open and receptive.

Colossians 4:2-4 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

7. Pray for laborers.

Matthew 9:37 The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few

8. Pray to hear God’s voice.

John 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

10. Pray that God will enlarge the place of our tent and the capacity of our influence, both personally and corporately.

Isaiah 54: 1-2 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes

11. Pray that the ministry of Jesus will operate in and through our lives.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised

Isaiah 61 (please click reference to link to BibleGateway.com)

12. Pray for unity and God’s commanded blessing.

Psalm 133 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

13. Pray for peace in Jerusalem.

Gen 12:1-3 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

14. Pray in the Holy Ghost building up our most holy faith and having the mind of the Spirit.
